Sheaff Vehicles has been selling quality used cars in the Tauranga area since 1989. Today Sheaff Vehicles remains as one of Tauranga's premier suppliers of quality used vehicles and from 2003 we started selling the brand new Ssangyong range of 4WD's and SUV vehicles. We have built up a very strong reputation over the years as a dealership with outstanding customer service, which is why so many customers keep coming to us for all their motoring requirements. In the past couple of years we have seen significant growth in the Ssangyong product, and in October 2012, we were awarded the Dealer Excellence Award by Ssangyong NZ which is a testament to the great team that work here.
With a large selection of 4WD's, cars, wagons and people movers, Sheaff Vehicles can offer full on site service facilities, including WOF. I originally started work as a Accountant after graduating from Victoria University back in 1993. That trip turned out to be 4 years in London followed by 3 years in the Carribean the Cayman Islands to be precise . By that stage the family ties were starting to pull and it was time to head back home to NZ with a wealth of experience and 1yr old son. So in 2003 I started working for Sheaff Vehicles 'out the back', learning the ropes from the ground up. This move provided the perfect catalyst for a change in ownership and management, so I bought into the company, and Phil my father stepped aside from the running of the company. On a personal note, as well as my wonderful wife of 23 years, I have 3 awesome children 1 boy and 2 girls . Craig comes from a family business who have been involved in the motor trade for over 50 years. Craig has in fact owned a franchise dealership here in Tauranga in years gone by and as such brings a wealth of experience.
After a few years away from the trade, Craig is thrilled to back selling vehicles and making people happy . Karl originally joined our team here at Sheaff Vehicles starting in the workshop. In October 2014 after showing great potential upselling to customers, he is now moved into a full time vehicle sales position. Ray started work here at Sheaff Vehicles back in 200 when we just dealt with Used Japanese imports. Ray is married with two lovely daughters and enjoys the occasional trail bike ride, running and a spot of trout fishing.
Mark started work for the family business back in 200, initially as a groomer, before moving on to a mechanics assitant and then formally started his mechanical apprentiship in 2003. Having moved to NZ from the UK a few years back, Ricky has settled into the NZ lifestyle well and truley. Ricky is married with 3 lovely young children and keeps active with his passion for Karate. Donna started working for Sheaff's in 1998 and it's fair to say she knows a thing or two about this family business.
