The vision for Mobility Equipment Services is simple to be acknowledged as New Zealand’s most respected provider of services and products that help people with physical impairment achieve a more enjoyable quality of life. Our mission is to empower our specialist team to understand client needs and concerns and deliver prompt, safe solutions for clients. We service needs of clients in the community who own disability equipment or who have received equipment funded by the Ministry of Health or ACC. In 15 years of business we have developed specialist skills and experience in repair and maintenance of many thousands of pieces of disability, medical and hospital equipment. We are available to service and repair equipment needs as required by our customers and will respond to any call out request in 24 hours and commence any service request within 24 hours.
We can attend to the smallest task required or complex servicing of electronic medical equipment. We have a 24 hour hotline clients may call to request service or product support . We have relationships with key equipment manufacturers and suppliers and are able to source parts for all equipment. We are the first port of call for all regional occupational therapists seeking support, advice and servicing for equipment. We are ever mindful of the challenges in assisting people who have physical impairment.
We will strive to understand their needs and concerns and to work in a collaborative way with them to deliver client solutions. We understand the need to quickly solve technical equipment problems for our physically impaired clients. For exceptional situations we provide a 24 hour hot line for advice or urgent call outs. Phillida understands the need for quality products and services in the health and disability sector.
Her brother suffered severe physical disability due to cancer and his quality of life was totally defined by the quality of care and products received by him.
