With a background in project management and development management, James has an array of experience on various construction and development projects across the industrial, health and residential sectors. James acutely understands the complexities, constraints and solutions needed to deliver successful residential construction and development projects in New Zealand, especially those requiring increased site density and a high level of professional management. Ben has recently returned to Palmerston North after 4 years in Bay of Plenty, working on various projects as a Site Manager and more recently a Project Manager.
Bradley started his career in the construction industry in 2004 in this time he completed his apprenticeship with McMillan Lockwood and carried on as a carpenter to become a leading hand on a 3 year major construction project in Palmerston North. In this time Bradley got to gain a vast experience in the construction industry. Bradley then carried on his career as a foreman with another company contracting to McMillan Lockwood working on projects ranging from Architectural houses through to commercial building. After completing an engineering degree at Canterbury University in 1974, John joined a Wellington based Consulting Engineering firm where he gained his registration after four years of working as a structural engineer.
As a director of the company John’s responsibilities extended into the corporate area and he is currently Managing Director for all the family’s construction, manufacturing and subcontracting businesses. He is qualified as an arbitrator and adjudicator and has previously sat on New Zealand Standard committees. Erin, a Chartered Accountant CA , who joined McMillan Lockwood, bringing with her extensive accounting experience in the UK, Canada and New Zealand, in various industries including Innovation, Railway Property, and financial accounting and tax experience with KPMG. Erin is involved in a wide range of company activities, including being responsible for both financial and management accounting for McMillan and Lockwood and other related entities and managing the wider accounts team. To successfully deliver to the client, a cost effective quality building, completed within the programme timeframe Robert Lockwood OBE. We understand the importance of trust and integrity in any client contractor relationship.
