We will visit the Vans factory and other aviation sites. and visit the Evergreen Museum where the Spruce Goose is among many interesting aircraft. Usually a Rock Concert on Monday night, a spectacular Evening Airshow on Wednesday and Saturday, Oshkosh NZ group dinner on Thursday. It was a appropriate time of the year to especially during the week as the parks were fairly quiet although we did queue 2 hours at the cars ride in Disney but that was an exception! My brother and I were gobbed smacked at the size of the Air Divulge and we continued to talk about it on our way home.
On Sunday 30th July we leave from Oshkosh, some to make their way home, while our tour will set off for Portland and Seattle and further north. A cruise up through the Foch's a tour underground of the old Seattle City is some of the sights and sounds we may visit. Oshkosh is the World's biggest airshow? The rows of gleaming plane on display don't have fences round them because people attending know how to behave around planes. Our exciting escorted tour which we arrange each year travels to the amazing AA AirVenture airshow held in Oshkosh Wisconsin USA, departing towards the final of July.
Not forgetting the World Premiere showing of the Disney Pixar movie Planes in 2013. The Sorrento at Seattle was a lovely boutique hotel having said that I enjoyed everything that the extended tour to Seattle and Vancouver had to offer. I have been involved in the travel industry since 1981 and I have a wide experience of all types of travel. Behind we have settled in we receive a bus to orientate ourselves around Oshkosh and visit a Walmart place to get our goodies for the week.
We can arrange all types of accommodation, rental vehicles, flights, all over the world. Whatever your area of interest in aviation there is something, nay, a lot, here for you. The Grand Canyon trip was AMAZING and we enjoyed the theme parks everyone had a different favorite.
