Eclipse Valves Fittings Limited specialises in the manufacture and supply of high pressure valves and regulators for CNG Compressed Natural Gas. Founding Director, Hugh Fulton, has been designing and manufacturing valves and other equipment for CNG and high pressure gas for the last 30 years, starting in 1969 when he began making SCUBA diving regulators. The team at Eclipse has over 60 years combined experience in the design and manufacture of products for CNG, fluid delivery and gas handling systems. Recognising the importance of accurate testing and development, Eclipse utilises a sophisticated testing programme, incorporating a flow and pressure test unit to establish ratings of all of our valves. He has over 35 years experience in the design, manufacture and installation of CNG compressing and dispensing equipment, and a total of 45 years experience in the design and manufacture of valves. Hugh has sat on the New Zealand Standards Committee, which has formulated world wide standards for CNG equipment and installations, the New Zealand CNG Federation, and has represented the New Zealand Government in market development studies in Latin America and Malaysia. He was awarded International Champion Award in 2002 by the International Association for NGV. Jason Whaanga has been working in sales for 20 years with a background in Electrical and Communications Sales and Marketing. Jason was Marketing Manager for a large Australasian Plastics Manufacturer and has worked in numerous Sales Management roles.
Jason was General Manager of a Clean Technology firm before coming to Eclipse and one of their major accomplishments was in the design and installation of the only solar powered water desalination systems in the Pacific at the time. Jason has NZ Trade Certificate Electrical and consults on our electrical and communication systems Working for a company that manufacturers leading edge products in an industry that is improving the quality of the environment is what drew him to working at Eclipse. He is qualified in turbine engine overhaul and maintenance for commercial vessels which makes him an exceptional asset to Eclipse with profound expertise in the valve and engine field. Peter also spent 6 years working in the architectural steel work industry, focusing on the design and fabrication side.
This provides Eclipse Valves with additional knowledge for the structure of our products. He achieved a Level 4 Trade Certificate in machining and tool making, making his manufacturing knowledge paramount in ensuring Eclipse products are of the highest standard. Cameron Fulton gained a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours Mechanical and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury. Brian Fulton spent 18 years at working as the Sales and Marketing Manager of 100 export related product to government gas companies, multinationals and SME businesses.
He is a qualified chartered accountant and he was also the Ex Treasurer for IANGV Global for 6 years. Brian has represented both Eclipse Valves and Arctic Cryogenics multiple times overseas making him a trusted connection for international relationships with the company. Georgia Fulton is studying a Bachelor of Design majoring in Industrial Design at Massey University in Wellington.
