Contemporary Dance is a style that has gained much recognition in NZ and has emerged as a style that many young people want to experience. The Dance Education center has an extensive background in the performing arts, catering to children and adults alike. The uniform is the least needed and with the quality of garments DEC supplies the uniform lasts healthy through the year and onward.
School productions more and more want students to have theater skills and knowledge and DEC is offering that along with developing another performance aspect for our dancers. DEC can assist access excellent costume makers or we run a costume hire service. From 2017 DEC offers an mature class to inspire those who want to return to dance or make a begin for the beginning time. At the higher smooth of classical ballet training for those students wanting to further their studies in dance, the DEC offers the Royal Academy of Dance RAD vocational training program beginning at the Intermediate level.
50 Payment of Fees The DEC operates a 4 term year. Junior Contemporary 1 hour class 112. For the more adult student, the senior slick develops and broadens students contemporary dance skills whilst developing students abilities to create dance.
