Located in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty , and accredited by NZQA with approval by Education Council NZ and the Social Workers Registration Board , BTI is highly regarded by students, alumni, schools , ECE centres and agencies for providing high quality biblically based diplomas, degrees and graduate diploma qualifications in teaching , counselling and social work. Here, two alumni share their passion for teaching and what they loved about studying at BTU for their Bachelor of Education Teaching Primary degree. Bethlehem Tertiary Institute seeks to graduate wise teachers who are developing a gracious, secure and teachable character motivated by love, informed by faith and inspired by hope. 2 of Teacher Education graduates were employed in schools, with 83 of students graduating with a degree in primary teaching having secured a job. 44 were offered a job in either their Host School or a school at which they had had a practicum experience.
